thinking vs feeling. logic vs emotions.
the former is thought through with the head, the part of our body where reason is evaluated and rationalized; clear definitions derived from compound detail – basic logic.
on the other hand, feeling, is centred in the heart, the inner core of the body, the part that is irrational, passionate, complex and confused. the latter is where raw intensity boils over into overwhelming sentiment. where the essence of being takes shape, and releases the only thing that can trump logic: emotions.
thinking is a simple act that anyone can engage, but feeling, now that is rare, distinct, profound even. a being that can argue with feeling and emotion and find that magical thing called happiness.
now that is a virtue to be proud of.
