[from dubai to brisbane.]

it is while sitting at dubai international airport that it hits me – i want to travel this vast world over but not to vacation or be a foreign tourist but to travel the ground – the unforgotten communities, the unknown remote corners of a country, stranded rurals to investigate and learn what resources and support it is that local natives ned to make their lives easier, more fulfilled – more complete.  too many times have i read a book, been inspired by someone else’s story of helping others then said “it is time for me to do something.”  well, now that i am out in the world the next step is to research how and where i can help and then put a plan into action.

and finally – i feel, and know that this will actually happen.  and as a i watch another plane take flight so with it do my thoughts about my new direction in life.
